Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Veda Jyotish account used with the VJ Customer app, and the data associated with it.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@vedajyotish.com from the email address registered to your Veda Jyotish account.
Use the subject line "Delete my account".
Include the name and mobile number registered with your account so that we can verify your identity.

You can also start the request from inside the app: open More → Contact / Help & Support and send us your account-deletion request.

After we verify your identity, your account and its associated personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days, and we email you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

Your profile and login details (name, email, mobile number and password)
Saved birth details and profiles (date, time and place of birth)
Generated kundalis, horoscopes, reports and saved calculations
Chat and consultation history with astrologers
App preferences and device / push-notification tokens

What data is kept, and for how long

Certain records must be retained after your account is deleted so that we can meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Where applicable, we keep transaction and invoice records (for example, subscription or consultation payments) for the period required by law. These records are retained solely for legal compliance, are not used to identify or contact you, and are securely deleted once the required retention period ends.
